A skilled manual therapy technique aimed at improving joint range of motion and reducing pain.

The therapist manually applies targeted pressure of forces on a joint in specific directions to help improve the mobility of the joint.

Physical Therapy Session

Cupping & Taping

Cupping: A deep tissue massage performed by licensed professionals – common areas for cupping to be used on the body are back, arms, and legs. This form of deep tissue massage can last anywhere from 20-30 minutes. This is beneficial at any point in the healing journey and is utilized by athletes as well as active day-to-day individuals, as well as anyone looking to relieve acute or chronic pain.


Taping: A manual therapy technique that includes placing strips of tape on the body in specific directions to help improve mobility, support of joints muscles & tendons & to help improve body mobility. Tape lasts 2-5 days.

Graston

The Graston technique uses an instrument and special massage method to identify areas of muscle adhesion, or scar-like tissue, that can be improved, and involves getting blood back into that area to help muscles recover. A healthcare provider uses the instrument to stretch and relax the muscle tissues.
